Stress and anxiety are natural responses—your body’s way of keeping you safe. 


When you face pressure or uncertainty, your nervous system mobilises to respond: heart rate rises, breathing quickens, and your focus narrows. 

This is incredibly useful in short bursts, but when your brain perceives ongoing threat, like constant deadlines, difficult conversations, or personal overwhelm—it keeps you in a prolonged state of vigilance.
